Well, it's finally in store - the latest edition of Complete Wedding Melbourne!



I shot a feature back in August for the lovely Erin of Brides on Main in Mordialloc as part of a collaborative project with her lovely dressmaker, and her lovely model, herself a Wedding Co-Ordinator ( a breastfeeding mama of two .. and NOT, may I add, a professional model. Amazing ).






We had a lovely little afternoon shooting in and around the store.
We chatted while Erin transformed Sarah from suburban mum to Va-Va-Voom, Arlene did the dressing, and then it was my turn. I must say, it was lovely to work with a client I could direct and instruct and they knew what I wanted and didn't pout or run away ( or ignore me completely! - lol, the joys of photographing the kiddy set! :) There was also none of the stress or angst of a real wedding .. just some ladies all wanting to make some beautiful images together.




Great work girls .. a virtual hi-five to you all .. the mag looks fabulous - x.

Brides On Main :: Melbourne Commercial Photographer

Recently I went to visit Erin in her newly opened store in Mordialloc: Brides on Main.
Erin was needing images to help complete her new website that was co-inciding with the gala opening.






Oh my goodness - the best word to describe this gorgeous store: Luxe

I just loved those huge mirrors, the opulent black and silver theme offsetting the gorgeous white and cream gowns, and chandelier lighting.

A Louis Ghost Armchair in the makeup area ( Erin is a qualified Makeup artist and hair stylist - this really is a one-stop shop! ) is watched over by a beautiful canvas divider featuring the image of Marilyn Monroe - and adds to the moviestar decadence of the surrounds.



Out in the main area there are more comfortable velvet Louis armchairs for guests, and a fabulous faux Zebra-patterned pouf to add a little modern tzing! ( the Zebra pattern is mirrored in little cushions on the Louis armchairs too! )

I was not the only one impressed with the new store .. passerbys popped in, eyes sparkling as they took it all in, or pointed and oohéd from the window outside.






It really is a gorgeous store, and Erin is a lovely hostess. If you're in the area and looking to get married, or even if you're after some hair and makeup for an important event, why not pop in and say hi.
